Madagascar has been departed from Africa since 165 million years ago and since then, a unique array of plants and animals have evolved, including many endemics. Endemics are things that are found nowhere else in the world. Lemurs are only found on the island of Madagascar. From the ring-tailed lemur which are called the indri to the largest living lemur which are the black lemurs. They both eat ripe fruit, leaves, insects and flowers and they both have hairy ears.
